Pluto Garden in your AI assistant
Pluto Garden works inside AI assistants that support connectors (the open MCP standard), including Claude and ChatGPT. Add it once, then ask for your birth chart in plain words. The assistant draws it with the same calculations as this site and gives you a link to your sky in 3D. In apps that can show it, such as Claude, your sky appears right in the chat in 3D: turn it, zoom in, tap a planet to see where it sits, with the classic wheel one tap away.
It's free, and there's nothing to sign in to. Every app below uses the same address:

Add it to Claude
- On claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, go to Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Pluto Garden, paste the address above, and choose Add.
- Start a new chat and ask for your chart. You can switch the connector on or off for any chat from the + button.
This works on every Claude plan; the free plan has room for one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it once under Organization settings, then Connectors, and everyone else chooses Connect next to it.
Add it to ChatGPT
ChatGPT takes connectors like this one through Developer mode, a beta on the ChatGPT website that isn't on every plan. On a work account, an admin may need to allow it first.
- On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors.
- Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.
- Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create. Name it Pluto Garden, paste the address above, and set authentication to No authentication.
- Start a new chat, choose the + button, then More, then Developer mode, and pick Pluto Garden. Ask for your chart, and confirm when ChatGPT asks to use the tool.
If a menu has moved, OpenAI's help page on developer mode has the current steps.
Add it to a code editor or command line
- Claude Code: run
claude mcp add --transport http pluto-garden https://www.plutogarden.com/mcp - Cursor: add
"pluto-garden": { "url": "https://www.plutogarden.com/mcp" }insidemcpServersin~/.cursor/mcp.json, or in a project's.cursor/mcp.json. - VS Code: run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP, paste the address and name it pluto-garden. Its tools then show up in Copilot's agent mode.
Any other app that connects to remote MCP servers over HTTP can use the same address. There's no key to set up.
What to ask
- "What's my birth chart? I was born 14 March 1995 at 3:20pm in Leeds."
- "I don't know my birth time. What can my chart still tell me?"
- "Is Mercury retrograde right now? When's the next full moon?"
- "What's rising in London right now, and which planets can I see tonight?"
- "Is the Moon void of course today? What aspects are exact this month?"
- "Show me Billie Eilish's birth chart."
What it can do
| Ask about | You get |
|---|---|
| Your birth chart | Sun, Moon and rising, every planet's sign, degree and house, and the closest aspects |
| No birth time | Everything that doesn't depend on the time, and both possible Moon signs when the Moon changed sign that day |
| The sky now (or any date) | Every planet's sign and degree, its position in both the zodiac and the night sky (right ascension and declination), distance, speed and phase, when it entered its sign and when it leaves; the Moon's phase, void-of-course window and next aspects; which planets are retrograde and until when; the aspects in the sky; and what's coming in the next 30 days. Add a place for the rising sign, houses and which planets are above the horizon |
| Famous charts | The celebrities and famous moments on this site, with where each birth time comes from |
The assistant writes the interpretation. The positions come from Pluto Garden, so they're the same as the chart on this site, and each placement links to its guide, like Sun in Pisces or Leo rising.
Your birth details
When the assistant uses Pluto Garden, it sends us only the birth date, time and place you gave it (or, for the sky now, the place and time you asked about, which we look up and don't keep). We work out the chart and keep a copy without your name, so the link to your sky keeps working. We never see your conversation. The privacy policy has the details.
Questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Drawing a chart through your assistant is free, like drawing one here. The full written reading is optional, on your chart's page.
Why use it instead of just asking the assistant?
Assistants can't calculate where the planets were on their own, so they guess or skip the hard parts like the rising sign. With the connector, every degree comes from a real ephemeris.
Which celebrities can it look up?
Only people who have shared their own birth time, the same list as our celebrity birth charts, plus famous moments with logged times. For anyone else it says so rather than guessing.
